Background story

The flower of life is a geometrical form of intertwined rings, in which are hidden all the existing geometrical forms and the secrets of creation itself. The flower of life has two other names, "the silence language" and "the language of light". The flower of life is called that not only because it is shaped as a flower, but also because its shape is as the fruit of a tree. The tree first springs a flower, which then turns in to fruit. The fruit contains the seed, which forms a new tree after it falls off. Thus, the circle of life consists of 5 steps: tree-flower-fruit-seed-tree.

There are some who see the first cellular division of the fetus as the "flower of life"- the essence of life.

A cell divides first to two, then four and eight and so forth. If we place the flower's shape in to a cube and connect each circle center to all the rest of the circle centers, 87 lines appear, forming a shape known as the Metatron cube.
